Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Standard
List of new or reconditioned motor vehicles eligible for credits
Under section 5 of the Act to increase the number of zero-emission motor vehicles in Québec in order to reduce greenhouse gas and other pollutant emissions (chapter A-33.02), the Minister of the Environment, the Fight against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks is required to draw up a list each year, by model year, of the new or reconditioned motor vehicles whose sale or lease qualify for accumulating credits.
The list is published in the Gazette officielle du Québec no later than May 1 of each year. It is also available on the Ministère’s website where it may be updated throughout the year.
