Québec and California will hold an eleventh joint cap-and-trade emissions units auction on May 16, 2017

Québec, March 17, 2017. – The Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MDDELCC) and the California Air Ressources Board (ARB) announced today that a eleventh joint carbon market auction will be held on May 16, 2017.

The publication of the Auction Notice, which includes the number of emissions units for sale, minimum prices and application requirements, marks the beginning of the application period. The application period closes April 18, 2017.
